ZnGeP2 crystal would be the leader amongst nonlinear crystals for middle IR. Significant sized ?twenty×90 mm3 ZGP single crystals have been developed productively because of the vertical gradient freeze strategy. The crystallinity and optical Qualities of as-developed crystals have been measured by XRD and transmission spectra respectively.2–10.
